John 14:6

...Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

ATHEIST PROFESSOR IN HELL! Best testimony EVER! .

When you die, no matter what-you will have eternal life.  The question you need to ask yourself is:  Do I want to spend eternity in "smoking", or "non-smoking"?

He Is Faithful!!!

I just wanted to give JESUS CHRIST all the praise, honor, and GLORY due to Him!  Once again, He has proved Himself FAITHFUL in ALL aspects of my life-even when I may not be totally faithful to Him.

I want to encourage all who read this to not only give their hearts to Jesus, but to place ALL of your hope and faith in Him.  His promises are Yes and AMEN!  He will save you.  He will forgive you.  He will fill you with His Holy Spirit.  He will cleanse you from ALL unrightousness.  He will set your feet on a straight path.  He will find you when you stray from His path and get lost.  He is our PROVIDER when we are in need!  He is our PEACE when we are in the midst of the battle!  When we figure out that we CANNOT win the battle, He reminds us the the battle belongs to Him!  He is our HEALER when we are sick.  He is our HEAVENLY FATHER when we need someone to talk to.  He is our DELIVERER when we are in a situation that we cannot get out of in our own strength.  When the water is over our heads, and we think we're drowning, He allows to walk on the water-IF WE KEEP OUR EYES ON HIM! And just when you think He's not listening, He reminds us that He is THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!

I love You, Lord Jesus, and everything in the life You have given me is YOURS!  Use me for Your GLORY!  AMEN!!!     \O/

Does Your Faith Persevere Under Trail?

Psalm 40:1-10 (NKJV)

I waited patiently for the LORD;
And He inclined to me,
And heard my cry.

He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.

He has put a new song in my mouth—
Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the LORD.

Blessed is that man who makes the LORD his trust,
And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works
Which You have done;
And Your thoughts toward us
Cannot be recounted to You in order;
If I would declare and speak of them,
They are more than can be numbered.

Sacrifice and offering You did not desire;
My ears You have opened.
Burnt offering and sin offering You did not require.

Then I said, “Behold, I come;
In the scroll of the book it is written of me.

I delight to do Your will, O my God,
And Your law is within my heart.”

I have proclaimed the good news of righteousness
In the great assembly;
Indeed, I do not restrain my lips,
O LORD, You Yourself know.

I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart;
I have declared Your faithfulness and Your salvation;
I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth
From the great assembly.

I've included another translation from The Message in case anyone needs a simpler translation:

Psalm 40:1-10 (The Message)

I waited and waited and waited for God. At last he looked; finally he listened.

He lifted me out of the ditch,
pulled me from deep mud.
He stood me up on a solid rock
to make sure I wouldn't slip.
He taught me how to sing the latest God-song,
a praise-song to our God.
More and more people are seeing this:
they enter the mystery,
abandoning themselves to God.

Blessed are you who give yourselves over to God,
turn your backs on the world's "sure thing,"
ignore what the world worships;
The world's a huge stockpile
of God-wonders and God-thoughts.
Nothing and no one
comes close to you!
I start talking about you, telling what I know,
and quickly run out of words.
Neither numbers nor words
account for you.
Doing something for you, bringing something to you—
that's not what you're after.
Being religious, acting pious—
that's not what you're asking for.
You've opened my ears
so I can listen.

So I answered, "I'm coming.
I read in your letter what you wrote about me,
And I'm coming to the party
you're throwing for me."
That's when God's Word entered my life,
became part of my very being.

I've preached you to the whole congregation,
I've kept back nothing, God—you know that.
I didn't keep the news of your ways
a secret, didn't keep it to myself.
I told it all, how dependable you are, how thorough.
I didn't hold back pieces of love and truth
For myself alone. I told it all,
let the congregation know the whole story.

Let me ask you-Is God AWESOME, or what?  The Message translation really spoke to me tonight.

If you're going through a trial, you need to continue to praise Jesus!  You need to continue to live the life that God has given to you, and you need to continue to share The Gospel - IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES!

The world is going to tell you to give up.  The world is going to tell you to run.  The world is going to tell you that it's OK to do something that may go against God's Word.  Satan wants you to stumble in this manner, and he will make every effort to have you say the words: "I give Up".

If you're felling that way tonight, or if you're hearing voices other that God's, then you need to do some things:

1) Take your eyes off the trial, and put them back on Jesus! (Matthew 14:22-23)
2) Rebuke the attacks of the enemy, and say " Jesus Christ rebuke you" to the demons who are whispering lies in your ears!
3) You need to surrender not only the situation, but your whole life to Jesus!  He is the burden-bearer. (Matthew 11:28-30).
4) PRAY!  Without ceasing, if at all possible.  BELIEVE what you bring before God will come to pass. (James 1:6) Ask other believers to pray for you as well. (James 5:13-16)
5) Read and meditate on God's Word.  It will bring you joy, peace, and understanding.  Trail, or not!
6) DO NOT listen to un-Godly council! (Romans 8:7-8)
7) REJOICE!  PRAISE THE LORD! (Philippians 4:4-7)
8) Realize that NOTHING is impossible with God!  He can do ANYTHING!  (Matthew 19:26, Philippians 4:13, 19)
9) Continue to live your daily life.
10) Continue to share The Gospel with everyone possible.  There's a testimony in the trial somewhere.  You may aven encourage another believer through your trial who may have given up!  Even better-Jesus may use you to usher someone into His kingdom! (Romans 10:14-17)

As I am going through some trials myself, God constantly brings me back to His Word.  I am strengthened, encouraged, and even BLOWN AWAY by His faithfullness!  Praise His Holy Name!! Hallelujah!!! \O/ He is FAITHFUL to take us through these trials remember-we're in them for a reason:

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (The Message)
So we're not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There's far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can't see now will last forever.

You may never see the fruit that will come out of your trial.  It may end up with a co-worker, a friend, a family member, or a stranger-but it always does something.  God's Word, once it goes out will never return void! (Isaiah 55:11)

Can I get a witness?
AMEN?

Have You Praised HIM Today? (Part 2)

Psalm 145 1-6

I will extol You, my God, O King;
And I will bless Your name forever and ever.
Every day I will bless You,
And I will praise Your name forever and ever.
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable.

One generation shall praise Your works to another,
And shall declare Your mighty acts.
I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty,
And on Your wondrous works.
Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts,
And I will declare Your greatness.

LORD-I praise You today.  I give You praise, honor and glory.  I also thank You for the many blessings in my life.  I also thank You for the storms and the trials-for by them, I grow closer to You.  May I never forget to continually praise You in ALL circumstances!  In Jesus' Name!  AMEN!!!

UPDATE to Jan 11, 2011 Testimony!!!

My Brother John Reilly and I went to Dunkin Doughnuts again to drop off a Spanish Bible to Miguel, and to encourage him (and get some lattes while we were there...).

Miguel was in great spirits, filled with The Holy Spirit.  He was grateful for the Bible, and told us he wanted to start reading it right away.  I asked him if he shared with his friend/co-worker about Jesus, and he said he had been doing that, but "...his friend wanted to think about it before making a decision...".  PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!  I told Miguel to keep sharing with him.

I told Miguel to keep sharing with his friend, and John & I got the opportunity to share about Jesus with the other worker-an Indian lady named Bhatia.  Please pray for Bhatia (My spelling may be off, but God knows who she is!), and for her salvation.

We're praying that this Dunkin Doughnuts will be a light in a sea of darkness, and that all who enter will hear about Jesus!

Pray for John and I as we continue to go back there.  May we be sensitive to The Holy Spirit, and go when HE says to go!

Thank You, Jesus for continuing to use me!  ALL the glory to Jesus!!!

BarlowGirl - Psalm 73 (My Gods Enough) [HQ]

Personal Testimony Jan 10, 2011-The Angels Are Rejoicing in Heaven!

Personal testimony about The Lord using myself, and my friend John to bring someone into The Kingdom....

The week before Christmas 2010, my friend John and I went out to lunch.  We live across the street from each other, and work around the corner from each other-so we go to lunch often.  One day that week, we went out for Chinese food, then drove to our favorite Dunkin Doughnuts on Rt 454 near the Sunken Meadow in Hauppauge/Commack.  We ordered our lattes, sat down to drink them, then "somehow" began a conversation with one of the young men working there-Miguel.

Both John and I shared The Gospel with Miguel, but after asking him several times if he wanted to pray to accept Jesus as his personal Savior, Miguel stated that he wasn't ready.  Both John & I told him how to receive Jesus when he was ready, wished Miguel a Merry Christmas, and told him that we would be back.

Fast forward to today.  John and I had lunch in Commack, then I looked at John and said that we needed to go to the Dunkin Doughnuts that Miguel worked at for a "follow-up visit".  We arrived there, and walked up to the counter to order, and Miguel was there eating his lunch.  We asked Miguel if he thought about what we told him when we saw him last, and he said YES!  Miguel got side-tracked when an older man sat down next to him, but he left after a few minutes.  I switched chairs at the table we were at, and I asked Miguel to join us.  He eagerly sat down.  I asked Miguel if he wanted to accept Jesus as His Lord & Savior, and he said YES!  A few minutes later, the angels were rejoicing in Heaven as Miguel began a new life in Christ!

John and I plan on going back for some follow-up visits shortly, and to drop off a Spanish Bible.  Please pray for Miguel as he begins his walk with his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.  John and I talked with him for a few more minutes before we left, and we both believe that Miguel will be sharing his faith with others at that Dunkin Doughnuts very soon!

Thank You Jesus for using us!  All the Glory goes to YOU!!!

Bow Your Knees to The Father....

Ephesians 3: 14-21 (Amplified Bible)

    For this reason [seeing the greatness of this plan by which you are built together in Christ], I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
    For Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named [that Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name].
    May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality].
    May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love,
    That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God's devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it];
    [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!
    Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]--
    To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it).

I Was Created For....

A friend and Sister in The Lord shared this with me, and wanted me to share this on The Jesus Freak Blog. Thank you, Genevieve- for being so faithful and writing this down after God spoke to you.

I Was Created For………………

For You O Lord I was created. I was created to praise you, the very one who created the universe and everything that exists! Every time I see the sun, or smell the fragrant flowers I see the work of your hands. When I look at the ocean or the mountains I see your majesty and power, I stand in awe of your creations, knowing this is but a shadow of what is in heaven. I praise you for who You are. You are Majestic, sovereign and holy. You are the very essence and meaning of why these words were created, I am humbled and honored to be able to call you Father.

I was created to worship you. To worship you for the very life I have. For you have redeemed and purchased my life with your precious blood. You have restored me spiritually and physically. I truly am a new creation because of You. I will be forever grateful, and am yours to do whatever you will. I was created to have an intimate relationship with you, the one true living God, who has revealed great mysteries to me. To know you, and your will in my life as well as you know me. To become more and more like you, so others can see your love, grace and mercy that are waiting for them.

When I am in your presence I only want to praise you. To get so lost in you, time or the things of this world do no matter. This is the fulfillment of all joy and gratification. What joy that overflows in me, when my spirit soars higher into the holiest of holies. I bow down humbled and awed that you love me the way you do. When these revelations come upon me, it literally takes my breath away and again the only thing I can do is worship You.

I was created to worship, praise, and glorify you, have reverence, fear, obey, and serve you. Have a relationship with you, bring others to you, be faithful, love you and you alone, but most of all I was created to spend eternity in your presence. Oh, the joy and privilege that awaits me. I thank you Lord for creating me.

ALL the Glory to Jesus!  AMEN?

Galatians 2:17 -21 Crucified With Christ?

Galatians 2:17 -21

 “But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not!  For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.  For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God.  I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.  I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”

Proverbs 15:3-Jesus is Watching You!

Proverbs 15:3 (NKJV)

The eyes of The Lord are in every place,
keeping watch on the evil and the good.
