Have You Praised HIM Today?

Psalm 145

I will extol You, my God, O King;

And I will bless Your name forever and ever.

 Every day I will bless You,
And I will praise Your name forever and ever.

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable.

One generation shall praise Your works to another,
And shall declare Your mighty acts.

Iwill meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty,
And on Your wondrous works.

Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts,
And I will declare Your greatness.

They shall utter the memory of Your great goodness,
And shall sing of Your righteousness.

The LORD is gracious and full of compassion,
Slow to anger and great in mercy.

The LORD is good to all,
And His tender mercies are over all His works.

All Your works shall praise You, O LORD,
And Your saints shall bless You.

They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom,
And talk of Your power,

To make known to the sons of men His mighty acts,
And the glorious majesty of His kingdom.

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.

The LORD upholds all who fall,
And raises up all who are bowed down.

The eyes of all look expectantly to You,
And You give them their food in due season.

You open Your hand
And satisfy the desire of every living thing.
The LORD is righteous in all His ways,
Gracious in all His works.

The LORD is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.

He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He also will hear their cry and save them.

The LORD preserves all who love Him,
But all the wicked He will destroy.

My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD,
And all flesh shall bless His holy name
Forever and ever.

Sometimes, in the midst of the trials & tribulations of life, we can easily forget to praise The Lord.  We are commanded in scripture to constantly offer up a sacrifice of praise, no matter what the circumstance:

Nehemiah 8:10b: "The Joy of The Lord is your strength".

James 1:2-3  -"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,  knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience..."

Philippians 4:4-"Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, Rejoice!"

Hebrews 13:15: "By Him, then, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips, confessing His name."

Some of you may be going through a trial.  It may be a health issue.  It may be a financial issue.  It may be a faith issue.  It may be a marriage issue.  It may be one of many other issues facing the world today.  I know personally how hard it can sometimes be to Praise God in the midst of a trial.  A very good friend, and Brother in The Lord told me point blank, that I NEED to praise Him no matter what the circumstance.  God's ways are NOT our ways, and The Lord will always use a trial to ultimately glorify Him.

If you're going through a health issue-PRAISE HIM!

If you're going through a financial issue-PRAISE HIM!

If you're going through a marriage issue-PRAISE HIM!

If you're going through issues with your children-PRAISE HIM!

If you're having faith issues-PRAISE HIM!

Brothers & Sisters-you need t remember that God will always be glorified once He takes you THROUGH the trial.  You will not be glorified, nor will any man.  Where God guides, He will provide.  He knows what's best for us all!

Can somebody please shout AMEN?!!
